Tony’s POV
It was a night like any other in New York City. The genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist himself, Tony Stark, was taking a late night flight in his Iron Man suit to test out a few alterations he had made to the suit’s flight capabilities. He soared across New York, staying at about the same level as most of the buildings that dotted the streets of the city.
Tony stopped in his wake when a high-pitched scream caught his attention.
“You hear that JARVIS?”
Of course, any normal person would not have been able to hear the scream over the din of the bustling city, but the suit allowed him to possess senses that greatly surpassed that of any human.
“Yes, sir, I’m afraid so,” the robotic voice sounded in Tony’s ear.
“Please! Somebody… help!” a woman's voice cried helplessly.
“JARVIS, zoom in on the streets.” Automatically, Tony’s vision of the streets below was enlarged. It was not long before he spotted a girl surrounded by 4 men in a darkened alley. He instinctively dove down and rocketed toward them.
He could see the girl struggle against the men as they tried to remove her clothes.
“Come on doll-face, no need to play hard to get,” one of the men snarled.
“Yeah, just loosen up and show me and my buddies here a good time,” another commented. The rest of the group chuckled in response.
One of them managed to pin her against the wall of the alley by her shoulders. She cried for help and flailed her arms and legs in an attempt to escape. She managed to scratch the cheek of the man who was holding her down with her fingernails. He looked at her with surprise that quickly turned to rage as he slammed her shoulders back down against the brick wall. Her head whipped back and hit the wall with such force that it made a disturbingly loud cracking noise.
She was knocked out cold from the blow, and her assailants took this as an opportunity. Just as they began to hunch over her limp form sprawled on the ground, the sound of metal landing on concrete echoed through the dark alley.
They all spun around in response, two of them holding guns. “Iron Man” slowly walked towards the group.
“Oh no no no, this just won’t do!” a sarcastic voice rose from the darkness in front of them, followed by loud, heavy footsteps.
The men couldn’t quite see the stranger through the darkness of the alley, except for a round, bluish light slowly getting closer.
“Hey man, just get lost or we’ll…” one of the men began, but soon trailed off at the sight of Iron Man once he finally came into view.
“Or you’ll what? Shoot me?” Tony’s slightly mechanical voice sounded through his mask.
The men lower their guns and cautiously began backing away.
“Hey now, no hard feelings… She was asking for it…” one managed to say sheepishly.
“Isn’t that what they all say?” Suddenly, the suit’s shoulder area opened up to reveal thin, dart-looking things as four of them shot out of their place and hit their targets. All of the men collapsed onto the concrete before they even had the chance to react.
“No hard feelings.”
His eyes then fell on the girl that lay in a crumpled heap on the ground. He rushed over to her and scooped her up in his arms bridal style. He took a second to get a good look at her. The first thing he noticed (of course) was how attractive she was, even though her face was a bit scratched up and dirty from the pavement. She had (h/l), (h/c) hair and (s/c) skin. He found himself wondering what color her eyes were…
“Sir, it appears that she is suffering from a concussion.” JARVIS’s voice snapped Tony out of his momentary daze.
“Right. Let’s take her back to the Tower.”
And in a flash he was off, soaring over the city once again.

Guardian Angel (Tony X Reader)
Tony stretched his arms over his head, a sliver of tan skin peaking out from where his shirt had rode up. He padded his socked feet down the hallway, his mind forming mouth-watering pictures of coffee. He stopped short when crying filled his ears. He glanced over to his fellow Avenger's door. The crying grew into screams and Tony rushed over, jiggling the handle, only to find it locked. The noise of glass shattering and things breaking added into the screams. Tony pounded on the door, anxiety and fear welling up inside him.
"(Name), open the door!" He shouted, the side of his fist aching form banging on the door so hard, but he refused to st
